Wakanda, the Fusion of East-and West Africa. For this collection, we combined our best Kenyan fabrics like our Kenyan jersey material with a colorful range of West-African Kitenge fabrics. Kitenge is a colorful fabric with distinct West African patterns. It is often described as a sarong as it is worn by women and wrapped around the chest or waist, over the head as a headscarf, or as a baby sling. Because of its colorful and cheerful nature, the Kitenge gained popularity in modern clothing like jackets, trousers, t-shirts…

 

This Tanktop is handcrafted from black cotton jersey and is enhanced with colorful Kitenges from West Africa and a handprinted Africa thumbprint.
