Masai Shuka, also referred to as the African blanket is a traditional clothing of the Masai people. The world known semi-nomadic tribe from East Africa. The strong and thick cloth is so popular with the Masai as it serves as a good protection from the harsh weather and terrain of the Savannah. The original Masai Shukas are produced in Kenya and come in the different typical Masai colors.
It is unique and attractive making it easier to identify Maasai Moran from the rest of the communities.
It is made of two layers of fabric (Maasai Shuka and Fleece) With the dimensions of 200cm long and 150cm wide. This functional item has been converted to Maasai blanket that is comfortable and warm from fleece lining. You can use it as blanket, wrap or table spread during outdoor camping .
